Nice to meet you.
I'm Leia La Madrid

I specialize in UX design and marketing
to help businesses discover growth opportunities
they didn't know existed.
My background in business from the University of Southern California gives me a unique perspective on solving problems through design. I excel at visual storytelling—particularly in website rebranding projects where I transform confusing messaging into clear brand narratives with compelling calls-to-action. For complex products and software, I create intuitive user experiences that make complicated things simple and easy to use.
What I love most about my work is brainstorming all the different possibilities to reach a goal. When clients face constraints or limitations, I find creative solutions that work within their parameters. I'm naturally proactive—if I spot an opportunity or problem, I'll bring it up and often just solve it. My approach combines strategic UX research with business-minded thinking to deliver scalable solutions that drive real results.
I practice martial arts and hold black belts in karate and taekwondo, plus instructor rank in Japanese swordsmanship. These disciplines have taught me focus and continuous learning—qualities that directly enhance my design process.
I'm also my friend group's go-to travel planner, which mirrors my UX approach: understanding everyone's needs, exploring all possibilities, and creating experiences that exceed expectations.
